Yesterday was the 9/11 Tribute WOD and fundraiser for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. We were able to raise $390! That's awesome guys and gals!
Brian Melton (our new intern) won the raffle and all the prizes including the Lululemon certificate, Green Drop Garage oil changes, free massage, and CFHEL training journal. Congratulation Brian.
It was awesome to see such a huge turn-out for the workout. I know there was a bit of a logistical issue with equipment and having to run heats, but every one was a great sport and patiently waited for there group to start. Those of you that had to leave due to time constraints can try the workout over the weekend if you choose not to do the Hero WOD. I appreciate you all understanding that during these 'Open Lab' workouts that include a fundraiser there is usually a larger turn-out and longer wait to train. They don't happen all the time but when they do it's great to see the larger CrossFit (and extended) community get together to train and hang out - many of you stayed for beers and conversations post-WOD!
Train for Chaos! See you in the Lab!
