So I was right. Per 5 lbs of gala apples and 2 granny smith apples. Boil with 1/4 cup water and half a lemon of lemon juice with a cinnamon stick. Once apples are cooked through, remove cinnamon stick, and add ground cinnamon( to taste), dash of ground nutmeg, dash of ground ginger, and pinch of ground cloves and mash together. Simmer together until spices are well combined with apples. Cool and enjoy.
