Blast From the Past Week

    Every workout this week has been done before.  These are not Girl Benchmark workouts, but they are workouts that were created at sometime in the past.  It is good to repeat workouts from time to time to check personal progress.  The date that the original WOD was performed is noted as the title.  This week is a salute to our plank owners - the originals who were here since May, June, and July.  Many of you have never done these WODs before - that's OK!  Just treat this like any other week of new workouts.  In six months, the rookies will be the veterans and checking their own past times!

The Domino Effect

February_23rd_2008_002After a few month of Lawyer School, Mike Mangan has come back in to finish off his Advanced qualifications.  After completing the Thrusters, Squats, and 2k Row, Mike got a Helen PR of 9:45.  We now have three Red Shirts on the Team - who will be next to answer the call?

Look Who Has A New Red Shirt!

Lees_new_red_shirt About three weeks ago Lee walks up to me and mumbles something like, "How do I test for Basic?"  I told him to come on Saturday at 10:00AM.  After about 90 minutes of Basic testing and a couple hours of Advanced testing, we have a new Red Shirt in the family.  Lee Gibson is our 2nd ever Advanced Level member.  Congratulations Lee!  Who's next?

New WOD Times - New Basic!

    Beginning today, Nick Temple will coach a 12:00PM Tuesday and Thursday WOD.  This will open the 12:00PM time from Monday thru Friday.

    Brand new Basic Level member!  Rob Straughan finished his Basic testing this past Saturday and is now a "Blue Shirt".  Congratulations Rob.  Rob, Lee Gibson, and Wes Hunter are now all in the running for Advanced.  Mike Mangan is also in the competition, but I think he is spending the winter at the mountain - he should finish his Advanced once the snow melts! :)  The race is on - who will be the next athlete to make it to Advanced?  What to get in the running?  Complete your Basic test first!  Schedule with Kevin for an hour of testing.
